Frontier Touring Company has confirmed that Irish pop band The Script will return to Australia in 2013 for a national arena tour.
The Dublin natives are actually in Australia right now for a sold-out show at Sydney's Metro Theatre, but their next excursion down under will be on a much grander scale.
Bandmates Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power have amassed an impressive fanbase in a relatively short period of time. Their signature anthemic ballads have won them 128 million YouTube views, 1.5 million Twitter followers, 3.7 million fans on Facebook, two BRIT nominations and two platinum selling albums, with new LP #3 virtually guaranteed to add to that number.
The Script play the following all-ages shows, which are all likely to sell out:
Wed Apr 3 — Perth Arena
Sat Apr 6 — Rod Laver Arena (Melbourne)
Sun Apr 7 — Sydney Entertainment Centre
Tue Apr 9 — Brisbane Entertainment Centre
