Never far from the public-eye Courtney Love is probably the most controversially out-spoken and unpredictable rock women of our time.
With the former Hole singer headed to Australia this week, there’s no doubt she’s coming to wreak some havoc with her punky power pop and bitchen attitude. Her latest single ‘You Know My Name’ is a sure sign that she’s not planning on being a pop-princess of any sort while on tour.
Love was last in Australia when Hole headlined the Big Day Out in 1999. Since then she has released her debut solo record ‘America’s Sweetheart’ and a fourth Hole record ‘Nobody’s Daughter’.
After recently concluding her UK tour the Telegraph said: ”potty mouthed and captivating”, while The Guardian stated: “she leaves us begging for more”.
This week Courtney kicks off her first ever solo tour of Australia, with her shows set to span both her solo work and Hole’s back catalogue (see below for a recent set-list from May:
