One of the biggest music acts (both mainstream and the underground) of the past 30 years, UK's iconic ravers The Prodigy will return down under bringing the ruckus with a 5-date 2019 Australian summer tour.
Kings of the alternative throughout seamless reinventions of their brand across multiple generations, The Prodigy were one of the first acts to bridge fans globally at opposite ends of the genre spectrum – punk, heavy alternative merging with rave culture – their six #1 UK albums testament to this fact.
With their previous albums including seminal releases 'Music For The Jilted Generation' (1994) and 'The Fat Of The Land' (1997), the partnership of Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim are set to release their newest record, 'No Tourists', globally on 2 November, 2018.
With 30 million records sold worldwide already and having won numerous music awards (including two Brit Awards for Best British Dance Act and three MTV Video Music Awards), The Prodigy were last in Australia in 2015 for Future Music Festival.
"We are looking forward to bringing 'No Tourists' live to Australia in 2019. Once again, time to bring the rukus!" Liam Howlett says.
The Australian leg of the 'No Tourists' world tour will visit Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney next January-February. The Prodigy will be supported by triple j unearthed DJ Enschway, along with Perth-born DJ ShockOne.
General tickets to all shows go on sale at 10am local time Thursday 1 November, 2018.
