Electronic dance duo, The Presets, will kick off the Rotto Live concert series on Sunday December 15 at Perth's Rottnest Island, offering music lovers a totally unique experience amongst the island's scenic surroundings.
The Presets have dominated Australia's electronic landscape since the mid-2000s, with the duo's third and latest album, Pacifica, nominated for an ARIA this year for Best Dance Release. It was the follow-up to their massively successful 2008 album Apocalypso, which was the ARIA Album of The Year. Their new album has already mimicked the success of Apocalypso, debuting at #3 on the ARIA album chart last year and spending an incredible 18 weeks in the ARIA Top 100.
Rotto Live is just one of many tour appearances by The Presets from the last year, in which they have headlined Parklife Festival, sold out their own national tour and scored key time-slots at Splendour In The Grass, Mardi Gras, FBI Radio's 10th Birthday and Celebrate Australia Day Broadcast in Canberra.
The duo are as excited as everybody else, declaring: "We're thrilled to kick off the Summer in WA at Hotel Rottnest for the Rotto Live Sunday Sessions on December 15th. Looking forward to seeing you all there!"
