After reuniting for an intimate concert late 2024 in Sydney, their first show in five years, Australian indie charmers The Preatures are back.
With that Sydney concert, celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut album 'Blue Planet Eyes', selling out in six minutes, the band will now embark on a 15-date tour this winter. Concerts are planned June through August for Sydney (x2 shows), Wollongong, Canberra, Northern Rivers, Brisbane, Fremantle, Margaret River, Bunbury, Hobart, Adelaide Castlemaine, Torquay, Melbourne and Newcastle, with the band to perform their debut album in its entirety, alongside a second set of their much-loved hits and possibly new material.
A record that features their mega hit 'Is This How You Feel?' as well as fan favourites like 'Somebody's Talking', 'Cruel' and 'It Gets Better', plus deeper dives 'Ordinary', 'Two Tone Melody', 'Business, Yeah' and 'Whatever', the band received four ARIA Award nominations including Best Group, with two songs placing in triple j's Hottest 100 ('Is This How You Feel?' #9 in 2013, and 'Somebody's Talking' #29 in 2014).
