The Living End fans are in for a double treat with the iconic rockers announcing the spring release of their new album, 'Wunderbar', as well as revealing dates for an accompanying national tour.
"I like to think that every time we release an album… we've still got our finger on the pulse [and we're] not putting out something that's just a pile of crap," fromtman Chris Cheney told us in a November 2017 interview.
Recorded over a six-week period in Berlin with producer Tobias Kuhn, 'Wunderbar' come together faster than any other The Living End album before and is, as the press release says 'one of the most raw, conscious and politically vital records of their career'. The first taste of the new record is the recent single 'Don't Lose It'.
Chris explains further. "We're not trying to re-write 'Dark Side Of The Moon' or anything.
"Instead 'Wunderbar' does what The Living End do best, what's kept hundreds of thousands of fans listening for nearly a quarter of a century: straightforward, heart-pounding, guns blazing rock & roll. I cannot wait to hit the road and get loud!"
The 5-date national capitol run will see The Living End joined by Adelaide rockers West Thebarton, who are fresh off the release of their debut album 'Different Beings Being Different'. 'Wunderbar' will be released 28 September.
