With the upcoming release of their new single 'Fighting For Air', WA's The Little Lord Street Band hit the road in support of the track in March.
‘Fighting For Air’ demonstrates the band's dynamism with a stripped-back approach giving over to simplistic instrumentation.Frontwoman Tash Shanks describes her struggles with mental health and panic attacks in the single, with the aim to encourage others to seek help and know they’re not alone.
The single comes out 20 March ahead of the 11-date ‘Fighting For Air’ single WA tour that kicks off with the launch on 27 March. The band will visit the South West, Great Southern, Gascoyne and Mid-West regions of WA before heading back home.
“Going on tour in WA is like visiting family for a Sunday roast,” Tash says.
“You get to play catch up with all these awesome venues, publicans, audiences, locals and your 'road family' along the way.
“You get to see the great outdoors - our beautiful backyard here in WA, while making music with your best pals and experiencing the road together, creating stories and memories.”
The 'Fighting For Air' single and tour comes ahead of the release of The Little Lord Street Band's debut album, which is due in August.
