English indie rockers The Lathums will tour Australia in 2025, they're first live shows down under.
The Wigan band, known for their hits 'Fight On' and 'The Great Escape', will headline concerts in Fremantle, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in October. With a back catalogue that also includes such indie charmers as 'All My Life', 'Up The Junction', 'Sad Face Baby', 'Say My Name' and 'Struggle', The Lathums released their third studio album earlier this year.
Titled 'Matter Does Not Define', it features the cuts 'No Direction', 'Stellar Cast' and 'Heartbreaker'. "Blood, sweat, and even tears – the whole shabang – went into this," posted the band.
"We're beyond proud to finally share 'Matter Does Not Define', our third album, with you. The album reflects the lessons we've learned on our journey so far, encapsulated in melody and vigour – a legacy left behind, if you will.
"We hope you see it as it was made, feel it as it was lived, and carry it with you in your own way – just like we will.
