It's been a decade Australia, but The Hives are headed down under in 2025.
The garage rock icons from Sweden will kickstart their world tour in Australia this July, with headline concerts in Fremantle, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The Hives have also dropped a new single, 'Enough Is Enough', which will feature on the band's forthcoming seventh record, 'The Hives Forever Forever The Hives', that will be released 29 August (pre-order it).
Talking about the new track, in their own words The Hives declare: "Who in their right mind would start a song like this? No one but The Hives. They are here again sooner than you expected and they have had enough of everyone at this point. Hence the title. Dig? Dig."
With a career spanning 30-plus years, Howlin' Pelle, Chris Dangerous, The Johan And Only, Nicholaus Arson, and Vigilante Carlstroem have crafted some of the finest high-octane rock & roll bangers this side of hell.
Their catalogue of hits includes 'Hate To Say I Told You So', 'Walk, Idiot Walk', 'Tick Tick Boom', 'Main Offender', 'Come On!', 'Two-Timing Touch And Broken Bones', 'Bogus Operandi' and 'Won't Be Long'. So you're guaranteed to sweat through your shirt when seeing The Hives live.
