Music and comedy festival The Hills Are Alive returns to the rolling hills of South Gippsland in Victoria over three days next March for what is set to be their most epic instalment yet.
For the 2019 edition, The Hills Are Alive will be headlined by Australian pop princess Vera Blue who comes armed with her latest album ‘Perennial’, an intensely personal record that traces the often circular pathways between love and loss, seamlessly synthesising her folk past with her bold pop future.
Vera Blue headlines The Hills Are Alive 2019.
More than just a festival, The Hills Are Alive began as an intimate celebration between musos and music lovers. A tastemaker event since its inception in 2009, The Hills Are Alive has earned a reputation for discovering new talent and fostering future Australian music legends, from Vance Joy, Courtney Barnett, Tash Sultana and Amy Shark.
Taking place on The Farmer’s family farm, the love that goes into The Hills Are Alive is tangible. There’s the Tiny Rave Cave, Bar At The Edge Of The World, yoga, an old school bus serving scones and lemonade, karaoke, seriously competitive ping pong and HILL-arious comedians.
Tickets for the festival include camping, and don't forget it's BYO. The full line-up for The Hills Are Alive 2019 will be announced 11 October.
