As they gear up to the stage the 20th edition in April, The Gum Ball organisers have added more talent to an already juicy 2025 bill.
After a pre-Christmas announce revealing the likes of Ben Lee, The Peep Tempel, Grace Cummings, The Stems, Elana Stone, Kim Churchill and 78 Saab would travel to the Hunter Valley festival, the new arrivals are equally tasty.Australian hip hop OGs, The Herd continue to remain relevant almost a quarter century after they formed, while singer-songwriter Liz Stringer ('Dangerous', 'First Time Really Feeling') was awarded Artist Of The Year at the 2023 Port Fairy Folk Festival.
Blues-rock underground legends Vapors Of Morphine (featuring original members of Massachusetts alt-rock '90s band Morphine) will travel across the Pacific to attend The Gum Ball, with Brisbane folk, alt. country stalwarts The Gin Club also venturing south for a rare live performance.
Other choice cuts making their Gum Ball debut from around the country include Victorian alt-rock bands The Pretty Littles and Human Noise, the folk-party vibes of Ukulele Death Squad, and the '70s rock & roll tones of Sydney's Large Mirage.
South Australia's indie folk Axe & The Ivory, Northern Territory desert hip hop troop DEM MOB, Tasmania's ethereal alt-pop Holiday Mystics, Perth's power pop of Rinehearts and Queensland's favourite children's feast, Junior Burger will also travel to The Gum Ball. Local-based acts joining the line-up include Midway, Genie Loci and Betty.

Staged on the family property of Matt 'Magpie' Johnston, The Gum Ball has hosted the likes of Mudhoney, Hoodoo Gurus, Sampa The Great, You Am I, Tex Perkins, Baby Animals, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Kim Churchill, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, and The Preatures since debuting in 2004.
An ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, The Gum Ball offers a relaxed atmosphere designed for all ages and inclinations to chill in the laidback confines of the Dashville venue that's nestled within beautiful bush surrounds.
