Off the back of their latest offering, 'Encyclopedia', Brooklyn outfit The Drums have confirmed they'll be returning to Australia at the end of this year.
Exploring a shadowy maturity through their signature infectious pop oscillations, 'Encyclopedia' celebrates nostalgic indie-pop. Founding member of the group Jonny Pierce says they felt very angry, confused and alone when they made the album and they wanted to be honest this time around. "Even if being honest meant making some people uncomfortable. We've left the beach for higher ground, always searching for hope."
Along with the announcement of their tour, The Drums also premiered their latest clip for the second single off 'Encyclopedia', 'I Can't Pretend'.The Drums will be playing at The Hi-Fi in Brisbane on Saturday 29th November, Metro Theatre in Sydney on Sunday 30th November and The Corner Hotel in Melbourne on Tuesday 2nd December.
