Canadian folk, bluegrass band The Dead South are returning to Australia in 2024.
After their sold-out tour down under earlier this year, and already announced to play 2024 Bluesfest, the group will headline concerts in Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney next March-April."Any amount of time away is too long, Australia, and we're stoked to be coming back to your neck of the woods next March. Since their formation in 2012, the band have released three studio albums – their most recent being 2019's 'Sugar & Joy'.
They've also released several EPs including a two-part series 'Easy Listening For Jerks' last year comprised of cover renditions (featuring versions of well known songs by The Doors, System Of A Down, Cold War Kids, and The Misfits).
With a banjo, mandolin, cello and guitar, a whistle and a kick drum, The Dead South have done bluegrass their way from day one.
