Get 'Busy Child' and 'Keep Hope Alive' 'cause The Crystal Method are headed back to Australia.
Part of the big beat scene of the '90s and early 2000s, pioneering the genre alongside the likes of The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Proppellerheads and Basement Jaxx, The Crystal Method brought the intense electronica sounds of the day from warehouses to festival stages. The 'Vegas' (1997), 'Tweekend' (2001) and 'Legion Of Boom' (2004) albums produced the dance-floor bangers 'Busy Child', 'Keep Hope Alive', 'Trip Like I Do', 'High Roller', 'Name Of The Game', 'Roll It Up', 'Born Too Slow', and 'Weapons Of Mss Distortion'.
In more recent years, The Crystal Method have released 'The Trip Home' (2018) and 'The Trip Out' (2022), the latter featuring 'Post Punk' – a joint with Hyper and Iggy Pop.
Originally the duo of Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland, the current incarnation is just Kirkland (after Jordan retired in the mid '10s) who promises Australian ravers two hours of 'dance-floor bangers' and a guaranteed night of 'nostalgia, rave, and pure ecstasy'.
Tickets on sale from 12pm (local time) on 6 December.
