Let's get busy child 'cause American electronic dance music pioneers, The Crystal Method will keep hope alive in June with their first Australian tour since appearing at Big Day Out 2007. We did the math; that's 13 years ago.
While their name may not be as big as fellow luminaries The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim and The Prodigy, the Las Vegas trailblazing duo of Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland helped shaped the genre-mashing electronic sounds that fuel the current zeitgeist. With a flurry of dance-floor bangers like 'Name Of The Game', 'Busy Child', 'Trip Like I Do', 'Born Too Slow' and 'Keep Hope Alive', The Crystal Method are legends of the big-beat genre of the '90s and '00s.
In 2016 Jordan retired, but Kirkland adopted The Crystal Method as a solo moniker and continues to tour America and Europe, even opening for TOOL.
