The State Theatre Centre of WA and RTRFM have once again come together to present a free, seven-week concert series happening every Friday (6 November to 18 December).
Now in its seventh year, each event will feature two bands performing live alongside a RTRFM DJ spinning the tunes in-between sets. It all kicks off as part of Perth International Jazz Festival, with a live set from Namora Nonet followed by a free night of jazz in the Courtyard. There'll also be a special In Conversation evening with Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse as well as a closing party with Full Frequency, Drivetime and the Perfect Strangers Crew to help say goodbye to 2020.
Throughout the series you can enjoy the the Afrobeat vibes of Grace Barbe and Queency, the electronic ambience of Segue & Elsewhere and Rebecca, the folk and country of The Little Lord Street Band and Lincoln MacKinnon and Wrecking Train, and the eclectic, neo-soul sounds of Material World Orchestra and Freehand.
Each live set will be followed DJs from some of your favourite RTRFM presenters, featuring DJ G-Rey, Em Burrows (Golden Apples of the Sun), Rhian Todhunter (Out To Lunch), Thot Spyc (All City) and Nafta (All City).
With each event all ages, and with licensed bar and food options plus free live radio with Vishnu, The Courtyard Club is an ideal meeting place to celebrate the end of the working week.
