The Church Australia 2024 Tour

The Church
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Seminal post-punk, new-wave Australian band The Church will return to their early days with a national tour celebrating the band's first four studio albums.

Dubbed 'The Already Yesterday' tour, the group led by founding member Steve Kilbey will headline concerts in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Perth and Adelaide November-December 2024.

The Church will treat fans with a selection of songs from 'Of Skins & Heart', 'The Blurred Crusade', 'Séance', and 'Heyday' (as well as set of songs from their latter years).

Collectively, these records spawned some of the band's biggest hits including 'The Unguarded Moment', 'Almost With You' and 'Electric Lash', which have become staples on radio playlists globally.

Set to tour the US and Canada with Afghan Wigs next month, for the first time in decades (and to commemorate the tour), Universal Music will reissue these first four albums on vinyl throughout the year. "Australia, it's time. We are thrilled to announce our new tour, aptly named The Already Yesterday tour," shares the band.

"We will be celebrating the upcoming vinyl reissues of our first four albums throughout the year, including these special shows across the country that will feature songs from these records as well as everything you want to hear from the early days to the current days.

"Fire up those record players and grab your tickets early – we'll see you all soon!"

Tickets on sale from 10am (local time) on 24 May.
