One of Australia's most iconic rock acts, The Church, will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their seminal album 'Starfish' that features the Aussie anthem 'Under The Milky Way', with a national tour this November and December.
An Evening With The Church will see the band perform 'Starfish' in its entirety as well as a number of greatest hits spanning the band's incredible 38-year career.
The tour will start in Wollongong before travelling to theatres in Newcastle, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide before concluding in Perth.
Members of the ARIA Hall of Fame, The Church, who formed in 1980, have crafted a remarkable 26 albums.
With the addition of Powderfinger's Ian Haug in 2014, The Church released acclaimed album 'Further/Deeper' that same year and with follow-up 'Man Woman Life Death Infinity' released in 2017, the band show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
2018 will mark an extraordinary year of celebration for The Church. They will appear at the sold-out Meltdown Festival in London on personal invitation of curator, The Cure's Robert Smith, followed by a run of shows in the UK, the band will head to the US in September before rounding off the year with An Evening With The Church tour.
