After releasing their ARIA-nominated album, 'High Risk Behaviour', in March this year, punk rockers The Chats have found time to pen a tribute song to "the second greatest band in history", AC/DC.
"When I was 10 years old, my dad took me to the Sanity in Logan and I purchased my first CD with my own money, which was 'Back In Black' by AC/DC," vocalist Eamon Sandwith says."I was utterly blown away at how hard this band could rock, and I played it in the car every day to and from primary school.
"I still f...en love Acca Dacca, so I wrote this song ['AC/DC CD'] as a tribute to one of the world's rocking-est bands."
It wouldn't be a Chats release without one of their instant-classic music videos and the lads haven't disappointed.
The lads look heavenly as they rock out inside a church; we're certain God doesn't mind. In fact, he's a massive 'Smoko' fan himself. The clip also features a cameo from Eamon's Nanna hooning around the streets of Melbourne with the boys. Bless.
The Chats will embark on a national tour May-June 2021. Tickets now available.
