Madchester, Britpop legends The Charlatans return to Australia this year as part of their 30th anniversary celebrations originally planned for 2020.
With a back catalogue that includes the classics 'The Only One I Know', 'Sproston Green', 'Then', 'Weirdo', 'One To Another', 'North Country Boy' and 'Just When You're Thinkin' Things Over', The Charlatans will headline shows in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth."We love playing Australia," frontman Tim Burgess says.
All 13 of the band's studio albums have charted in the Top 40 in the UK, their most recent longplayer being 2017 release 'Different Days' that included the single 'Plastic Machinery'.
Tickets on sale from midday (local time) 11 May.
