Victoria's Labor Day long weekend just got that much better with Melbourne's party-starter kings, The Cat Empire bringing their infectious energy and danceable beats to Live At The Bowl.
Given the events of the past 12 months, this is the longest The Cat Empire have gone without playing a home-town show (it's been more than a year)."After the year that's been, and what it's meant for live music, we're truly excited to get back on stage in the heart of the city that raised us," The Cat Empire's frontman Felix Riebl says.
"The Cat Empire has always thrived on the live experience; the Sidney Myer Music Bowl show promises to be a real homecoming."
Punters can expect to hear all the Cat Empire classics ('Hello', 'Two Shoes', 'The Chariot') plus a stack more from their massive back catalogue.

Set to join The Cat Empire is local funk-soul queen Kylie Auldist, who released a her newest album in November titled 'This Is What Happiness Looks Like'.
Music lovers with young families can also indulge the Live At The Bowl action with a special, one-off concert series (6-7 March; 9.30am, 11.45am sessions) featuring ABC Kids stars from Justine Clarke, Jimmy Giggle, Dan Sultan and Pevan & Sarah.
Tickets are limited to these kids concerts, which will be an all-singing, all-dancing, all-laughing hour of fun.
