Melbourne-based folk-pop band The Bon Scotts have announced a national tour taking place over October and November.

The release of their new album on 3rd October, The Bon Scotts (who aren't an AC/DC cover band) bring cowbells, trumpets, mandolins, saucepan smashing and guitar strumming together to produce a mix of clattering, horn-blowing vibrations that settle them amongst the forefront of the folk pop revival. Capturing the band's distinct but somewhat quirky sound,'Modern Capitalism Gets Things Done' is alluring and charming.

One of Melbourne's hardest working bands, their charisma, often boisterous and always breathtaking live shows embody their distinct vibe, dazzling instrumentation and undeniably wicked hooks which take you on a journey through booming drums to the quivering whisper of violin. Examining lost love, seedy friendships, the free market and summer's golden promise, The Bon Scotts continue to push the boundaries of folk.
