Legendary American rockers The Black Crowes will return to Australia to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album 'Shake Your Money Maker'.
"$hakin down under! We cannot wait to come back to Australia this November," declares the band, who'll headline concerts in Sydney and Brisbane.Fuelled by singles 'Jealous Again', 'Twice As Hard', 'She Talks To Angels' and their breakthrough cover of Otis Redding's 'Hard To Handle' (150M Spotify streams), the success of 'Shake Your Money Maker' would see The Black Crowes tour with the likes of ZZ Top, Metallica, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe and Queensrÿche.
After their third reunion occurred in 2019, the current band features original members, brothers Chris and Rich Robinson as well as former bassist Sven Pipien and drummer Brian Griffin (who has toured with Brandi Carlile, Richard Marx, Patti Smith and others).
The Atlanta band have also written 20 new original songs with plans to record an album early 2023 in the works.
In May, The Black Crowes released an EP titled '1972' featuring six covers of popular songs from 1972 including The Rolling Stones' 'Rocks Off', T. Rex's 'The Slider' and The Temptations' 'Papa Was A Rollin' Stone'.
