New Zealand power-pop indie rockers The Beths return to Australia next year.
The band responsible for such hits like 'Future Me Hates Me', 'Expert In A Dying Field', 'When You Know You Know' and 'Jump Rope Gazers' will headline concerts in Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne next April.
Last Friday, The Beths took the covers off their fourth studio album, 'Straight Line Was A Lie', the follow-up to their New Zealand #1 album, 2022's 'Expert In A Dying Field'.
"Australia we are coming in April! We're going to be so good at these songs by then I hope. Can't wait to play them for you."
The quartet of Elizabeth Stokes, Jonathan Pearce, Benjamin Sinclair, and Tristan Deck are about to embark on a 55-date tour encompassing dates in the UK, Europe, and North America stretching to mid-December.
"Aroha nui to everyone who played a part in the creation of this album, ANTI- for putting it out and everyone who comes to our shows or listens to our music.
"It's been a huge week of album release shows and promo stuff and kind of a relief to finally share it with the world. We hope you like it. See you at the shows! 💐 xo Liz, Jon, Ben and Tristan."
With festival appearances at Coachella, Primavera Sound, Newport Folk Festival, and Bonnaroo, plus support slots with the likes of Pixies, The Breeders, The Postal Service, and Death Cab for Cutie, as well as earning praise from Phoebe Bridgers, The Beths' unforgettable hooks and unflinching storytelling is worthy of your attention.
