It has been 15 years since The Beautiful Girls released Triple J staple and their debut release 'Morning Sun', the rootsy goodness of their surf-rock-reggae rhythms swamping the indie scene with the arrival the following year of their first full-length release 'Learn Yourself'.
Now the trio lead by Mat McHugh will celebrate the beginning of their career with a national, summer tour visiting all parts of the country to perform the surf-roots-reggae 'Morning Sun' and 'Learn Yourself' sounds that gained them a worldwide core of avid fans as well as those of the Jack Johnson, Ben Harper and Xavier Rudd tribes.
