Set to bring their full live show to (mostly) regional stages, many locations they haven't played in years, The Amity Affliction start 2026 with a massive 21-date tour.
To take place February-March, the run of shows – which will also feature In Hearts Wake and RedHook (with Headwreck at select dates) – will visit the likes of Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Townsville, Cairns, Sydney, Newcastle, Penrith, Wollongong, Central Coast, Hobart, Geelong, Frankston and Adelaide.
The tour also acts as a warm-up for The Amity Affliction's North American tour with August Burns Red next April-May.
2025 saw Amity win the Heavy Award at AIR Awards (Australian independent music) as well as release 'All That I Remember', their first new music featuring bass player and clean vocalist Jonny Reeves.
The Amity Affliction has never shied away from delving into darker emotional tones, exploring the complexities of the human condition. With 'All That I Remember', the listener is served up a moment of reflection that is laced with haunting resonance.
Lyrically, the track discusses personal recollections of a fractured relationship with a parent.
"My mother knew only abuse and isolation, even in death as she cut her own children off; she died as she lived, paranoid and alone," frontman Joel Birch explains.
With eight studio albums alongside six ARIA Awards nominations and five wins at Queensland Music Awards, The Amity Affliction have become one of Australia's premiere heavy acts over the past two decades.
