Last year saw the release of Melbourne-born, prog-metallers Teramaze’s fourth studio album, 'Her Halo'.
With the introduction of new vocalist, Nathan Peachey, and a welcomed signing with record company Mascot Label Group (alongside Joe Bonamassa, Monster Truck, Flying Colors, Zakk Wylde, Beth Hart, Whitesnake, Paul Gilbert and more) Teramaze gained rave international reviews, best band and best album of'15 in a number of major publications.
All this even before the official album launch. On Friday night (22 January), Teramaze launched their new release at The Barwon Club in Geelong. With an almost full-house welcoming newcomers and gig openers, Windmaker, the night was set for a big night of talent.

Joining Teramzae were seasoned acts Vanishing Point and good friends Damnations Day – both very professional and solid, each fit for the world stage.
Being pretty new to the live scene, Teramaze guitarist Dean Wells and bassist Luis Eguren and drummer Dean Kennedy (also with Damnations Day) confidently commanded the stage and performed likewise.

The new vocalist, while young, a little ginger and still finding his feet in front of a live audience, shows a hell of a lot of potential. With no stretch of the imagination, one could see him performing on the big stages of Europe and the US in no time.
A fantastic night of high-quality metal.
