Still six-plus months away, the first acts who'll play the 2024 edition of Tamworth Country Music Festival feature a stack of Australian country music stars.
To take place at various locations in Tamworth 19-28 January, the 2024 line-up is highlighted by Australasian Roll of Renown and ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Kasey Chambers, the most successful Golden Guitar winner of all time Troy Cassar-Daley, as well as nine-time Golden Guitar winner Adam Harvey.Then there's living legends Lee Kernaghan, John Williamson and Graeme Connors (the latter will be celebrating 50 years in the industry).
Five-time 2023 Golden Guitar winners Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley, 2023 Toyota Album Of The Year and ARIA Award winner Casey Barnes, 2023 Female Artist Of The Year Amber Lawrence, 2023 Male Artist Of The Year Andrew Swift, 2023 Golden Guitar winner Ashleigh Dallas, and 2023 Toyota Star Maker winner Loren Ryan will also make their way to Tamworth in 2024.
Multi-award winner Beccy Cole, eight-time Golden Guitar and ARIA award winner Fanny Lumsden, popular duo Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham, and multi-award winning artist Shane Nicholson are also part of the 2024 programme.
Other highlights of the 2024 line-up include Amy Shepard, Busby Marou, Sara Storer, Catherine Britt, Darlinghurst, Tania Kernaghan, The Hillbilly Goats, The Weeping Willows, The Whitlams Black Stump Band and Brian Cadd.
"For more than five decades, the home and heart of Australian country music has welcomed some of the country's biggest stars and emerging talent," Festival Manager, Barry Harley says.
"The Toyota Tamworth Country Music Festival is the nation's premier country music event and we cannot wait to welcome fans and artists in January 2024."
Country music's night of nights, the Toyota Golden Guitar Awards will be held 27 January at the Tamworth Entertainment and Conference Centre.
Celebrating recording excellence and showcasing the cream of Australian country music, the night will be hosted by multi-Golden Guitar Award winner and ARIA nominated Tania Kernaghan and 2014 Golden Guitar Award nominee Jason Owen.
Ticketed events on sale from 7 July. There's a stack of free events happening as well.
The 2024 Tamworth Country Music Festival takes place 19-28 January.
