Update - 11 February, 2020: A second (and final) Melbourne show has been added to the tour. Tame Impala will play back-to-back nights at Rod Laver Arena 23 April (sold out) and 24 April (just announced).
Psych-rock phenomenon Tame Impala will embark on a huge Australian tour in April.
The all-ages show will head to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, and Texan genre-defiers Khruangbin will join them.
Led by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker, Tame Impala have established themselves as one of Australia's most astounding live acts. The live experience of their music has been seen by audiences at Coachella, Glastonbury, Primavera and Splendour In The Grass, and it's world-renowned.
Kevin has also announced that a donation from Tame Impala's 2020 tour will be made to go towards bushfire relief efforts.
In April, fans will experience songs from the highly-anticipated new album 'The Slow Rush', set for release on 14 February.
Tame Impala's last tour in 2015 saw them sell out venues across the country, including an iconic Sydney Opera House forecourt appearance. 'The Less I Know The Better' was debuted during that tour and has since accumulated more than 450 million streams.
Tickets for the tour go on sale 28 January at 10am local time.
