If you're after quirky, upbeat garage rock that shimmers with '60s vibes, say hello to Gold Coast four-piece Girl And Girl.
Self-proclaimed 'desperate rock' artists, the band are unique in nature, featuring Aunty Liss, her nephew Kai Aubert and his two friends: Jayden Williams and Coby Williams.
Their latest number is the jaunty, rollicking joint 'Ocean Song' – an introspective track that touches on the themes of rumination and 'action over thought'. You'll be hooked within 20 seconds. . . Trust.
"For me personally, it's about over-analysing every possible situation," lead singer Kai explains.
"The song says spend more time taking action and less time thinking, because thinking will ruin your life, or thinking too much rather."
