Marc Bolan and David Bowie remain two of rock music's most influential artists, their respective catalogues having an impact on various genres, and artists such as Guns & Roses, The Black Keys, Morrisey, Ramones, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Gary Numan, Kate Bush, Oasis and Prince.
The 'T.REX vs David Bowie' show is inspired by the real-life rivalry and friendship Marc and David shared as they pioneered glam rock, together ruling the airwaves in the early '70s.
Cast as bitter enemies by the press, Marc and David remained close allies while battling each other in the chart up until Marc's death in 1977.
David Bowie would endure for nearly another 40 years, producing insurmountable volumes of timeless music, his final album – his 25th – 'Blackstar' released on his 69th birthday (8 January) in 2016. He died two days later.
