American indie singer-songwriter, Sydney Rose will make her Australian live debut in 2026.
"I cannot believe I am saying this, but I'm playing my first shows in AUSTRALIA!!! Can't wait to meet you guys <3," Rose says, who'll headline intimate concerts in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne next March.
Originally finding an audience with her covers that went TikTok viral – including 'Home' by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros and 'Turning Page' by Sleeping At Last – the Georgia-born and Nashville-based artist has been prolific releasing new material the last few years.
Earlier this year, Rose released her fourth EP 'I Know What I Want' that features her mega hit 'We Hug Now' that has 170M Spotify streams. Sydney's most recent single is the Delaney Bailey collab 'I Stopped Trying'.
"The week following the release of 'We Hug Now', I went to the Catskills to work with Sam Evian on all of these songs," Sydney says about the creative process behind the I Know What I Want' EP. "I've always wanted to do a project like this – very stripped down and very me!
"I couldn't have done it without Sam. I've never felt so content and sure of myself while recording music. Throughout this process, I found a new home at Mercury Records and I couldn't be more happy!!! They have been working tirelessly to bring this EP to life!
"I really hope you like these songs as much as I do. I feel like this is me writing at my best. We added 'We Hug Now' at the end since it's been so special to this era."
With her soft-spoken sincerity and storytelling ability, Sydney Rose has carved out a space where intimate music thrives, positioning herself as one of the most promising singer-songwriters of her generation.
