L-R, Top-Bottom: Becky Lucas, Aunty Donna, Middle Kids, Hockey Dad
Super Fun Day Festival in Brisbane is giving new meaning to the term ‘mixed bill’.
A colourful, swirling mixture of talent, Super Fun Day in 2022 combines some of the best of music and comedy in one exciting format.
Leading the charge to entertainment is Hockey Dad, Aunty Donna and Middle Kids, in a festival promising to be the cure to any and all cognitive ailments at the end of a Brisbane summer.
Also joining the giggles and grooves is Aaron Chen, Becky Lucas, Beddy Rays, Cheap Date, Concrete Surfers, Daily J, Michelle Brasier, Shag Rock, Sweater Curse, The Vanns, Tia Gostelow and more, across two stages at Eatons Hill Outdoors and Ballroom.
Hockey Dad are sure to be looking forward to their return to the stage – in June they were asked to leave their own performance thanks to poorly-timed lockdown restrictions in Brisbane. They’ll bring audiences music from their new album ‘Brain Candy’.
Meanwhile, bursting from the doors of their ‘Big Ol House Of Fun’ are the Aussie comedy heavyweights Aunty Donna, in their festival-exclusive show combining music, sketch, and dozens of drums, probably.
Middle Kids are in the middle of a tour in the United States, but will be gracing audiences with their presence with songs from their new album ‘Today We’re The Greatest’.
