Feel-good music presented in idyllic, dreamy locations, SummerSalt is back for another season of festival deliciousness in 2023; and for the first time in its history will welcome international guests.
The festival series will run from across two weeks from late January visiting Canberra, Wollongong, Fremantle, Hobart, Yarra Valley, Torquay, Coffs Harbour and Gold Coast.Australia's favourite indie folk-pop sibling duo, Angus & Julia Stone will co-headline SummerSalt 2023 alongside American blues-rock-soul-gospel singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ben Harper, who released his 17th studio album 'Bloodline Maintenance' earlier this year.
"Hi friends. We are so excited to announce we'll be playing SummerSalt 2023," Angus & Julia Stone says, "and on top of that we are joined by an amazing line-up of artists from here and overseas."
Ben Harper is equally pumped. "Let's go Australia!"
Canadian folk-acoustic-alternative singer-songwriter City and Colour will also be travelling to Australia to play SummerSalt.
"It's been too long," shares City and Colour. "I'm super excited to announce that I'll be heading to Australia for SummerSalt."
Rounding out the bill is indie rock-soul group The Rubens, ARIA Award-winning rockers Middle Kids (except in Canberra and Hobart) and folk-pop singer-songwriter Alex The Astronaut.
"I'm very pleased to say I'm joining the Salty line-up this summer. See you at a SummerSalt festival near you," Alex The Astronaut says.
Add food trucks, pop-up bars and family-friendly activities, which makes SummerSalt the place to hang with your fam and best buds surrounded by a sparkling haze of good times as live music showers down.
