Part of City Of Parramatta's Summer Nights cultural programme, Summer Sundown promises a night of indie-pop and electronica headlined by SAFIA and Touch Sensitive.
Canberra indietronica trio SAFIA are pumped to play Summer Nights (25 January) after a couple of years of zero gigs in the Greater Sydney area.
"It's been over two years since we've had the opportunity to perform in Greater Sydney, so as you can imagine we are extremely excited to just get out there and play," SAFIA says.
"People can expect big production, loud sing-alongs and three guys who'll just be happy to do what they love again."
Meanwhile Sydney's own synth-driven artist, Touch Sensitive ('Lay Down' and 'Pizza Guy') has released remixes this year featuring G Flip ('Queen') and Golding ('Alone. Together').
Also joining the bill will be Melbourne's trip hop, indie pop producer Alice Ivy who recently released the single 'Weakness' featuring Sycco as well as appearing on Georgia Maq's jam 'Someone Stranger'.
"Stoked to be playing Summer Nights in Parramatta next month!" beams Alice. "I've been working super hard on a brand new set that will keep you dancing. Live music is back baby!"
Rounding out the line-up is Sydney-based producer and vocalist CLYPSO, who'll open the show with her tropical inspired electronica; her latest single is the quirky electro fun of 'Less Talk'. Summer Sundown takes place at The Crescent at Parramatta Park (Parramatta) 25 January. Tickets are on sale.
