Sum 41 and Pennywise Lead 2019 Download Festival 2nd Line-up

English punk two-piece Slaves have been added to 2019 Download Festival line-up.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Download Festival have donned their Santa hat to bring heavy music festive revellers an early Christmas gift, with seven acts added to the 2019 Melbourne and Sydney events.

Canadian rockers Sum 41 lead the new arrivals followed by legendary SoCal punks Pennywise (only Australian shows) and Aussie metalcore stars Polaris.

Other fresh attendees will be Sydney metal crew Thy Art Is Murder, Melbourne hard rock outfit Twelve Foot Ninja, English punk two-piece Slaves and Perth progressive five-piece Voyager.

They join heavyweight conquerors including Ozzy Osbourne, Slayer (on their final world tour), Anthrax, Judas Priest, Alice In Chains and a stack more big name acts.

Download Festival takes place on 9 March at Parramatta Park (Sydney) and 11 March at Flemington Racecourse (Melbourne). Tickets are on sale. Click here for more information.
