Born and raised in the small coastal town of Port Lincoln on South Australia's west coast, Luke Morris returns to the fold with his newest single, the rockin' ballad 'I Was Somewhere Else'.
The follow-up to single to Luke's 2014 debut album, 'Sugarcane Road', 'I Was Somewhere Else' is a sublime mix of rootsy rock married to superb songwriting, and was recorded and co-produced with friend and fellow musician Garret Katto in living rooms and farm houses in and around Byron Bay.

Luke’s passion for songwriting developed at the age of 16 while living abroad with his family in Europe, conjuring inspiration from the unfamiliar countryside, and the sounds of Bob Dylan, Jeff Buckley, Bon Iver and Nick Drake.
