Bruce Springsteen's new record, 'High Hopes', will be released in Australia on January 17, but you can listen to it right now.
It's a somewhat haphazard collection of unreleased material from the past decade, some of which has its origins in Springsteen's last Australian tour. The record includes a number of covers, including the title track (originally recorded by The Havalinas), Suicide's 'Dream Baby Dream', and The Saints' 'Just Like Fire Would', and a couple new takes on old Springsteen material ('The Ghost Of Tom Joad' and 'American Skin (41 Shots)', both reinvigorated by new E Street Band recruit Tom Morello.
Oddly enough, the record is streaming exclusively via the website for the TV show 'The Good Wife' (songs from the album will feature on this week's episode of the show); you can listen — and, we guess, read up on the latest exploits of beleaguered lawyer Julianna Marguiles.
