A staple of Brisbane's community calendar, Stones Corner Festival returns in 2026 for its 11th instalment.

After beginning as a small gathering of likeminded souls, the event has grown into a full-blown street party offering live music, movement, food trucks, local brewers, neighbourhood activations, market stalls and that unmistakable Stones Corner spirit.

This year, the festival will be headlined by Australian electro-pop legends Rogue Traders who'll elevate the event with sing-alongs moments including their iconic hit 'Voodoo Child'.

With powerhouse vocalist Natalie Bassingthwaighte back alongside the original line-up, expect big vocals, bigger nostalgia, and a set that proves the dance floor still belongs to them.

They also have new music incoming throughout 2026, with new single 'Next Words' dropping this Friday. "'Next Words' – out Friday . . . The next release from the forthcoming album, 'Midnight Alarms'," posted Rogue Traders.

"This one is TOTALLY unlike anything we've released before, liminal - romantic - next. What will YOU do when the lights go out?"

The beats will be maintained by Super Disco Club, the duo of DJ-producer Andy Van (Madison Avenue) and vocalist Cassie Van delivering a euphoric mix of disco classics, '80s hooks, '90s energy and modern house beats.

Stones Corner Festival will also lean into country music in 2026, with Giddy Up Strut the Nashville honky-tonk experience you didn't know you needed in your life.

Backed by powerhouse live band Nashville Jukebox, the performance will feature sing-along covers from modern country icons like Luke Combs, Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson.

You better pack your boots too, 'cause you'll be scootin' all over Stones Corner when Queens Country Line Dancing takeover the main stage.

Founded by best friends Sammi and Christine, Queens isn't just a performance, it's an interactive workout for all involved as the duo set about teaching dance moves to have the entire crowd on their toes embracing the mantra of connection, community and letting loose.

The blues will also be mingling at Stones Corner Festival in 2026, with one of the country's finest blues musicians Ray Beadle ripping it up live onstage.

A resume that includes regular touring both locally and internationally, Ray once had a three-month residency with the house band in BB King's club in Memphis. This will be the blues at its most real and powerful.

One of the most powerful moments of the festival comes courtesy of John Hanley and Don't Shoot The Hurricane.

Living with Motor Neurone Disease for nine years, John continues to embody his mantra: "If you have air in your lungs, you should be using it."

Backed by his mates in this local Brisbane band, his performance is a moving reminder of resilience, joy and the power of music. Supported by the MND and Me Foundation, the festival's charity partner, this set is as meaningful as it is memorable.

"Being part of Stones Corner Festival means so much to me, not just as a musician, but as someone living with Motor Neurone Disease," John says.

"The foundation has been such a fantastic support since my diagnosis ten years ago, so every gold coin donation, every conversation, and every moment on that stage helps make a real difference. I'm proud to be part of something that turns music into meaningful impact in my community."

The next-gen will also be represented at Stones Corner Festival with Gold Coast four-piece Laurel Hill showcasing their indie surf-rock sound that's ideal to dance in the street.

Last month, the band released their debut, self-titled EP followed by a stack of SE QLD shows. "This one is special to us," posted the band.

"Six of our first ever songs. Learning the ropes to this stuff has been so much fun. Finding our sound, experimenting with different ones, it's been so good. We can't wait to hear what you think 😘. We are just getting started ❤️!"

Eleven years in, and Stones Corner Festival isn't slowing down. It's a celebration of music, community, and showing up for a good time, together. "For 11 years now, Stones Corner Festival has been all about bringing people together," Stones Corner Festival spokesperson Phil Cole says.

"2026 is shaping up to be our biggest and most electric celebration yet. From iconic throwback acts to rising local talent, incredible food, and a real sense of community spirit, it's a day where the whole neighbourhood comes alive.

"What makes it truly special is that while we're having an unforgettable party, we're also coming together to support the MND and Me Foundation, so every moment on the street has real meaning behind it."

Stones Corner Festival takes place at Logan Road (Stones Corner in Brisbane) on 3 May (Labour Day Eve) from 12pm-10pm. Free entry.
