This year marks the tenth anniversary of Brisbane's Stones Corner Festival.
The annual, free event showcasing awesome live music alongside local food trucks and breweries returns to Stones Corner Hotel and Logan Road on Sunday 4 May.Set to headline the music line-up is three-time ARIA Award nominated roots-blues act Busby Marou ('Biding My Time', 'Best Part Of Me') with Tom Busby to also perform a solo set, who earlier this month released his solo debut single, 'Waiting For Tomorrow' that features Ben Kweller.
Fresh from an Adelaide Fringe performance, a group who ignite your inner P.A.R.T.Y. – Never Ending 90s bring the biggest, most iconic pop-rock bangers and club hits from the decade that provided us 'Let Me Entertain You', 'Vogue', 'Backstreet's Back', 'Wannabe', 'Wonderwall' and 'Pump Up The Jam'.
Roaring Lion, one of Australia's premier Bob Marley tribute bands, will make you feel the rhythm, embrace the vibes, and celebrate the music of a reggae legend.
After coming together as part of Team LeAnne Rimes on last year's 'The Voice Australia', two-time Golden Guitar winner Brad Butcher and Tori Darke (who recently toured with Lee Kernaghan) will showcase their onstage chemistry at Stones Corner Festival.
Emerging alt rock band Seaside will bring their moody melodies and electrifying energy, while Don’t Shoot the Hurricane, led by John Hanley (who has defied the odds of Motor Neurone Disease for a decade) return to the Stones Corner Festival stage. "John's story is a testament to resilience, friendship, and the power of live music."
Stones Corner Festival is all about coming together for a great time and a great cause, with its core mission focused on supporting the MND and Me Foundation (the official charity partner of the festival). Proceeds raised help Queenslanders like John in their fight against Motor Neurone Disease while also funding vital research. Attendees are encouraged to contribute with a gold coin donation.
"What started as a humble gathering has grown into one of Brisbane's most beloved festivals, and this year, we're looking back at a decade of unforgettable performances," shares the event organisers.
"From Mental As Anything and Regurgitator to Jebediah, Art vs Science, and The Potbelleez, our stages have been graced by some of Australia's biggest acts; and we're just getting started.
"This free-entry event promises to be bigger than ever, with a killer line-up, food trucks, local breweries, and vibrant market stalls for the ultimate Sunday session."
