National travelling festival Spring Loaded have added Melbourne and Brisbane dates to its 2021 itinerary, fresh off a sold-out Bribe Island event at the weekend.
Headlined by Grinspoon, Regurgitator, and Jebediah, each Spring Loaded features a revolving list of '90s rock bands banging out the nostalgia including the likes of You Am I, Custard, Magic Dirt, The Meanies, The Fauves and Screamfeeder. For the Melbourne and Brisbane legs, Lindsay 'The Doctor' McDougall will be replaced as the festival's MC by another icon of '90s Aussie rock, Dylan Lewis.
With a number of bands located in the Greater Melbourne area, due to the continuing COVID-19 issues relating to border closures and SA Health restrictions the Adelaide leg (due to take place this weekend) has been rescheduled to 6 November. (All tickets purchased for the original date will remain valid for the rescheduled date, without need for exchange.)
For the Central Coast and Adelaide events, Tumbleweed have been added to the respective line-ups.
The man who masterminded this year's run of Spring Loaded, Empire Touring's Marc Christowski is thrilled with the two new event additions.
