Australian rock & roll lovers, listen up!
Spiderbait are gearing up for an Australian tour in 2017, where they'll play their album 'Ivy & The Big Apples' live from start to finish.
20 years ago, the album was named 'Ivy & The Big Apples' after elderly local Ivy Matheson won a gardening competition thanks to her big, ripe apples. When reported in the news, the headline read 'Ivy & The Big Apples', and Spiderbait knew that it was perfect.

The chart-topping track 'Buy Me A Pony' would rise from this album, earning the band the number one spot on 1996's triple j Hottest 100… This was the first time an Australian band accomplished a Hottest 100 win.
It was a landmark in Australian history, and Spiderbait's decision to play the full album live will have old and new fans feeling all kinds of nostalgia.

The band's last two tours have sold out completely, so it's no surprise that this show is looking like another killer moment in the Spiderbait timeline.
