As they move closer to the release of their new album, indie charmers Spacey Jane will return to the road this winter.
The 'Booster Seat', 'Feeding The Family' and 'Lots Of Nothing' legends will be on the road throughout June, promoting 'If That Makes Sense' (that's due for release 9 May; pre-order it).The tour will traverse Brisbane (x2 shows), Gold Coast, Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney (x2 shows), Melbourne (x2 shows), Adelaide (x2 shows), and Hobart before a four-show, hometown season in Fremantle. They will be supported on the tour by the talents of The Moving Stills and Phoebe Go, who'll alternate slots for each stop.
"It's happening! AUS stoked to be hitting the road in a few months, with Phoebe Go and The Moving Stills joining us 🤠."
Produced by Mike Crossey (The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Alice), the band also collaborated with songwriters Jackson 'Day Wave' Phillips and Sarah Aarons (Childish Gambino, Miley Cyrus, Lykke Li) to bring the 'If That Makes Sense' project to life. The new album follows 2022's 'Here Comes Everybody' and 2020's 'Sunlight'.
Today, Spacey Jane have also shared another single from 'If That Makes Sense'; following earlier album single 'All The Noise' (which already has 2M-plus Spotify streams), 'How To Kill Houseplants' sees frontman Caleb Harper confront his inability to repair a relationship as he battles the temptation to walk away.
"I feel awful and I want to save this thing and I don't know how to do it," Harper admits, adding wryly of the houseplant-relationship metaphor. "I should know how to do this by now, but I don't: I've killed 35 creeping ivies."
Tickets on sale from 10am (local time) on 6 March.
