After placing a record three songs inside the top six of the recent Hottest 100 (six songs in total), Spacey Jane have released a deluxe edition of their 2022 album 'Here Comes Everybody'.
It features the Hottest 100 tracks 'Hardlight' (#3), 'It's Been A Long Day' (#5), 'Sitting Up' (#6), 'Pulling Through' (#25), 'Yet' (#40) and 'Bothers Me' (#75), alongside four bonus tracks, including the band's new single 'Sorry Instead'."'Sorry Instead' only just missed out on making the album," frontman Caleb Harper explains, "so it feels good to finally have it out in the world.
"I really like how dark the verses feel compared to the chorus and the woahhhh chants at the end were super fun in the studio with Ashton and Kon (Kersting).
"Also if it looks kinda windy in the music video that's because it was, holy sh.t.”
Shot at Kwinana Jetty, the video was directed by Matt Sav who is a long-time Spacey Jane collaborator, having also directed the 'Booster Seat', 'Lunchtime' and 'Sitting Up' videos.
The band will also trek around regional New South Wales and Queensland on a nine-date run in May-June. "Yyep yep yep helloooo! Hitting the road for some regional shows real soon – see you out there," shares the band.
