If you're a fan of tempting teas, delicious delicacies, appetizing alcohol and lilting live music, Morningside is the place for you this Saturday night with the Southside Tea Room kicking off its first in a series of live music gigs for 2013.
The bar-cafe, owned by The Grates members Patience Hodgson and John Patterson, will deliver the smooth, folk beats of Rick Fights, better known as Matt Somers from I Heart Hiroshima. The following Saturday, January 19, the venue will play host to Brisbane's Teen Sensations: their vocal-driven surf-pop tunes assured to get the crowd surging.
The 19th will also feature a special performance from one of Brisbane's most well-loved acts, who will be returning to the stage for the first time in a long time. However, said band's identity shall continue to elude fans until the night of the performance.
The Southside Tea Room opens early with music from 8pm.
