If someone texted me this excuse for skipping out on our regular lunch date, I wound't buy it. However, this Friday, this may be a text people in Sydney will be truthfully sending out. Josh Pyke himself is inviting Sydney workers to join him over their lunch break to create new melodies together in a unique jam session.
At this interesting event, workers will be asked to contribute lyrics — and maybe their own musical talent — to create a song. It's part of an Ing Direct initiative to help Australians 'reclaim their lunch break'.
If Josh Pyke was going to be joining me on my lunch breaks, maybe I'd stop eating lunch at my desk everyday too.
Josh Pyke will help you Spend Your Lunch Well at Customs House Forecourt Fri Aug 2.
