Critically-acclaimed British indie band Sorry will head to Australia this October, playing headline shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
Sorry (Asha Lorenz, Louis O’Bryen, Lincoln Barrett, Campbell Baum, Marco Pini) began as a duo – high school friends Asha and Louis releasing solo projects via SoundCloud – before they merged their talents. They emerged from Brixton’s Windmill scene, where they played alongside Shame, Goat Girl, and Black Midi.
A few years on, the group have created their own distinctive musical world, drawing together their shared passion for lo-fi sounds of grunge, trap, and shoegaze. In 2020, they signed to Domino, and released their debut studio album ‘925’ produced by Jamie Dring, to rave reviews.
The album’s release led to the band performing sold-out shows across Europe, plus a showcase at SXSW 2021, and a spot at Glastonbury in 2022.
Sorry are currently on a huge European tour, following the release of their recent, acclaimed album ‘Anywhere But Here’. Australia will get the chance to see the group when they arrive down under later this year.
Tickets are on sale 28 July at 1pm.
