Australian indie-folk slayers, Sons Of The East will tour their biggest local shows yet when they return to the road in 2025.
With 700 million streams, 75 million YouTube views and 100,000 headline tickets sold, Sons Of The East are currently one of Australia's biggest music exports. The trio of Nic Johnston, Dan Wallage and Jack Rollins have had a whirlwind couple of years touring the globe in the wake of their debut album, 'Palomar Parade', that features the cuts 'On My Way', 'What I Do', 'You Might Think' and 'Another Night.
The band have sold-out shows at famed venues like O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London, Williamsburg Music Hall in New York, Troubadour LA, and Sala Apolo in Barcelona, while courting comparisons to Towns Van Zandt, Blaze Foley, Gram Parsons and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
Now they're gearing up to release their sophomore record titled 'Sons', which they teased with the new single 'Rescue Me' (that has already accrued 400k Spotify streams in its first two weeks of release).
"It's been a treat seeing all the love 'Rescue Me' is getting around the globe! Thank you for all the support. Lots of exciting things coming very soon 😉."
With 'Sons' slated for release 13 June (pre-order it), Sons Of The East will headline concerts in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Fremantle in August. Fans can expect a serving of new music as well as the band's biggest hits including 'Into The Sun', 'Come Away', 'California', and hopefully their cover of 'Torn'.
With blues, soul and country tones infused into their stunning folk harmonies, live Sons Of The East captivate with their signature energy and emotive storytelling.
