UK rapper Songer will head around Australia for a string of tour dates this October for ‘The Other Side Of The World’ tour.
The performer has collaborated with one of grimes greatest, D Double E, has sold out headline tours in less than 24 hours, and has his music praised across national radio and press. Soon, he’ll play his biggest hometown stage, at Reading Festival.
Songer’s album ‘SKALA’ quickly shot to #1 on the Official UK Charts for hip hop/R&B releases, plus it went #1 on the iTunes hip hop charts and #4 on Spotify’s album charts.
“Thank you to everyone that’s heard ‘SKALA’,” Songer wrote in an Instagram post. “I appreciate you. It’s been the best performing album I’ve done.”
Songer is known for his BL@CKBOX performance which still stands as their most watched session on the channel, and he has made his presence known for a multitude of other reasons over the past 12 months. He’s just dropped his lively d’n’b cut with much talked-about producer K-Motionz, ‘Vino Bandit’. This will be followed by a headline slot a the Clash Magazine live event series, before he hits Australia.
Tickets are on sale 18 August at 11am.
