Snarky Puppy Australia 2025 Tour

Snarky Puppy
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Celebrating ten years of the seminal album ‘We Like It Here’, Texas-bred jazz collective Snarky Puppy is hitting Australia for a string of shows.

The album features tracks like ‘Lingus’, ‘Shofukan’ and ‘What About Me’. These tracks, plus the others on the album, have been streamed and watched more than 160 million times since release. At the Australian tour, fans can expect to hear their fave songs from the album, as well as other gems from Snarky Puppy’s discography.

Snarky Puppy have collected five GRAMMY Awards. They’re known for a unique blend of funk, rhythm & blues, classic soul, modern gospel, new tech, fusion, and jazz. There are as many as 19 members in regular rotation.

The group was formed in 2004 by primary composer Michael League. It began as a group of college friends studying jazz in North Texas and blended both black and white American music culture, with accents from around the globe. . . Brought together by a shared love for music.

Snarky Puppy have played everywhere from New Orleans Jazz Fest, Newport Jazz Festival, and our very own Bluesfest in Byron Bay.

Tickets are on sale 22 November.
